What is an anabaptist?

While reading the definition for apostolic, first on www.newadvent.org, and then on www.wikipedia.com I came across the term Anabaptist. I decided to look it up, realizing that I really knew very little on this subject. I still do know very little!

I originally thought Anabaptist meant anti baptism de to the pre-fix "ana". Ten I came to realize what "Anabaptist" meant really meant.

ANABAPTIST(Wikipedia) from the Greek "avá means "over again". Anabaptist: "Christians who believe in delaying baptism until the candidate confesses his/her faith".

Most likely waiting until the age of reason for a candidate to say, "mom, dad, I want to be baptized."

The other option is the church accepts the confession of faith starting from young adulthood. I need to enquire more.

I got on to this because it pops up in the topic of Apostolic Christian Church. (Please note the picture below as a reference.)
