People Attend A Passover Seder For The First Time
In a fun video people attend a passover seder for the first time. These people talk about learning more about Judaism in their Seder experience.
Servants Must Remain Watchful
Luke 12:35-40 The Watchful Servants
35.Gird your loins and light your lamps
36. and be like servants who await their master's return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.
37.Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them.
38.And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.
39. Be sure of this: if the master of the house had known the hour when the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
40. You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come."
In this parable, Jesus explains that the master of the house is happy to find his servants up and ready to welcome him home at any moment. He further states a blessing on the servants who are ready to receive their master at any time of the day (2nd shift, 3rd shift).
Jesus ends this parable in verse 40 stating "you also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come." He instructs his followers to be ready for the second coming at any hour.
Rose Publishing has the following summary: " A homeowner is pleased when he returns unexpectedly and finds his servants are ready to receive him at any time. Whether it is the master or a thief, the servants ought to be ready for each." (The Prodigal Son and other Parables of Jesus, Rose Publishing, 2012)
Be always waiting for the second coming of the Messiah. Don't lose faith. Don't turn away from God. Upon his return the faithful will receive blessings.

Rose Publishing echarts
I have recently discovered the little treasure of Rose Publishing when I shopped at THE CHAPEL AND CAFE SHOP, Downey, CA. The physical store sold Rose Publishing guides. I was intrigued by them. I found one that I bought titled l: One Year Plan to Reading the Bible. It comes with three plans to suit your needs. This leads to extending the life of the guide for three years, as well. Here I have shared a page of the three plans. This is not all there is. There's more! There are 12 pages to this guide. Plus!, when you go online and lol up Rose Publishing you can opt in to receive free weekly echarts! I opted in and am enjoying my 9 free echarts. The echarts show 10-20% of the whole guide in total.

the Cross of Christ as the Center of Mercy
- SOURCE
December 10, 2015
“There is but one center of mercy, one merciful event, in which we receive mercy and give it, or give it and receive it. This event is the saving mystery of the Cross, which alone enables us to enter into true spiritual harmony with one another, seeing one another not only in natural fellowship but in the Spirit and mercy of Christ.” (Thomas Merton) Does Merton’s idea of the Cross as the “center of mercy” resonate with you? How does the shadow of the cross change the way we see our neighbors? Christ, help me to put your Cross at the center of my Christ, that I might practice your merciful love.

Dealing with the effects of a mass shooting.
This past few days has been crazy hasn't it? Have you felt nervous?, anxious?, scared? I'm there with you. The day after the San Bernardino shooting I woke up very anxious. My breathing was restricted. My body was on heightened alert and I didn't know why. Then, I remembered the shooting. I thought, "this is terrible, unbelievable. How could this have happened? Why did this happen?" And yet I still had to go about my day. I had to get my child ready for school, get myself ready for work. I had to get myself together. What could I do? I did my breathing exercises to regulate my breathing. But, that wasn't enough. What could I do in regards to the victims in San Bernardino? I took the time to say a prayer in the morning. Later in the day, I made time to say 5 decades of the Holy Rosary. During this time, I did my best to stay on task in my meditation of the Holy Rosary and the mass shooting in San Bernardino. I'd like to say I was refreshed at the end, however, I'm still feeling bodily effects of anxiety from the shooting. Still I keep praying for all involved.
